Once applied, requires minimal maintenance only requiring touch-ups or reapplications every few years.
Ceramic Wax:

Less durable than coatings, requiring more frequent reapplications every 1-3 months.
-
Offers good protection against water spots, dirt, and minor scratches.
-
Generally more affordable up-front costs.
-
Requires regular maintenance, including washing and occasional reapplications.

A clay bar is a specialized tool made of a synthetic resin that is elastic and resilient, with a texture similar to Play-Doh. It's used with a clay lubricant to safely remove contaminants like road grime, brake dust, and bug residue that embed themselves in the clear coat of your car, making the surface feel rough and dull. The clay bar pulls these contaminants away from the paint area, leaving a smooth surface that is then sealed.
